Arria 10 System on Module
The Arria 10 SOM is an Arria 10 SoC System on Module with an emphasis on embedded and automotive vision applications. Using Alteras Arria 10 SoC Devices in the 29x29 mm package, the module off ers a multitude of interfaces in a small 10 cm by 6 cm form factor.
Dream Chip Technologies GmbH (DCT) has an immediate opening for a Senior FPGA/SoC developer with and/or Altera development experience to design next generation ADAS, Surveillance, and CMOS Sensor based imaging systems.
Be part of a collaborative hardware/firmware team executing the companies technology road map for image processing and control systems through R&D and direct product development. Work on a strong and agile development team operating with entrepreneurial ingenuity while taking advantage of opportunities to leverage diverse technologies and resources across the whole company.
The Senior FPGA developer will be responsible for the architecture inputs, requirements specifications, design analysis, RTL design, and verification of FPGA based image processing and control system designs.
- 5-8 years experience implementing FPGA firmware in Verilog as an individual contributor
- Successful track record delivering multiple FPGA designs into production
- Experience being part of a FPGA design team
- Verification experience developing test bench methodologies and infrastructure
- Experience developing C/C++ on embedded processors/microcontrollers
- MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
- Active secret clearance or ability to obtain a clearance
Detailed Skill Requirements
Design Experience: FPGA System on a Chip (SoC) architecture definition and partitioning, algorithm implementation, HW/SW interfaces, PCB interfaces, and design for in-system test.
Device Experience: Altera and Xilinx background, both SoC (ARM).Microcontroller experience (PIC, ARM, Tensilica, Nios), Qsys.
Tools and Languages: Xilinx and Altera Design Tools and flow, C/C++, PC and Linux environments, Mathlab would be a plus, configuration management tools (Git, SVN).
Verification Experience: Creation of HDL-based test benches. SystemVerilog, SystemC, high-level language simulation environment a plus.
Specific Technology Experience: AXI peripherals, DDR and memory arbitration, Ethernet and high-speed transceivers, image/signal processing, implementing processing functions (fixed point, pipeline, parallelism), and chip-to-chip interfaces.
Hardware Test Experience: Vendor debugging tools and design of synthesizable test code and traps.
