Düsseldorf, 27. Juni 2014 - Die Weltpremiere glückte Anfang des  Jahres beim Superbowl – dem größten Einzelsportereignis in den USA. Jetzt steigt die Europapremiere: Vodafone demonstriert auf der Kieler Woche die bahnbrechende Zukunftstechnologie LTE-Broadcast und läutet damit eine neue Ära der Live-Berichterstattung von großen Sport- und Musikevents in Europa ein. Die Zuschauer in Kiel können die Video-Übertragungen der Segelregatta erstmals in Echtzeit auf Smartphones und Tablets verfolgen – und das aus mehreren frei wählbaren Kameraperspektiven. Dabei wird das mobile Datenvolumen der Nutzer nicht beeinträchtigt. Gemeinsam mit Partnern wie dem Sailing Team Germany, Huawei, Presentec und DreamChip testet Vodafone die Technik während der gesamten Kieler Woche.*
